One of the challenges facing poor families in third world countries is having enough money to pay school fees after their children pass the national exams. Because of the lack of schools in poor communities, the student has to enroll in a boarding school far from their home and the tuition costs are just not attainable. If there are a number of children and resources are limited, parents often choose to educate their sons rather than their daughters. Because of this fact, we have made it our goal to help girls get higher education. I also believe that educating girls will bring lasting change in a culture. As they grow up and have children of their own, they become the primary source of influence over the next generation and have a great opportunity to pass on their knowledge.
